Hello School, Goodbye summer!!

Happy back to school!!
 My 3 older boys were happy to go back to school.  For me, bittersweet.  I love that they are reunited with friends and teachers, with more day to day structure, but I miss sleeping in!!

Now only having two little ones home with me, I was able to complete a page for August 2015 Scrappy Friends challenge.
Here is my layout:


I really enjoyed making this layout.
1) From Rochelle's August Tic Tac Toe challenge, I went straight down the middle.

I used felt balloons from my stash.  The velum gray camera is from a new paper collection from Close to My Heart, Zoe and the 4 patterned paper Confetti Wishes paper pack also from CTMH.

2) I used Brenda's Sketch challenge

3) I used Kelly's Word challenge

There were so many wonderful words to pick from, I choose family!!

From Scraps to Beauty 1

Hello everyone.  Hope everyone is enjoying this wonderful summer.
I just wanted to share some cards I made from the scraps I had left over from the July 2015 Scrappy Friends Challenge I entered in last month.  
I used the leftover paper from the challenge. I used ribbon, couple of stickers, and cut outs from my stash.
Also used Close to My Heart stamps, July 2015 stamp of the month and July 2014 stamp of the month.

I also gave the challenge to my 10 year old son 

to make something creative and this is what he came up with.

I love that he used all the patterned paper and made his own cut outs. 

 He is so creative.
