Oh how I have missed you so!!

Oh how my life has changed since the last post.  :)  I am now a mother of 4 beautiful children.
Back in September 2012, I could not figure out why I was so tired.  Surprise two lines!!
Pregnancy and I do not get along, but because I was thankful and grateful I learned to submit to the process that God has created.  I only gained 10 lbs, tasted a lot of meals twice in one serving :).  After only 35 weeks, Mariah's birthday arrived.  My first c-section.  I can say that my world was turned upside down in a matter of days.  I was back in the hospital, with Congestive Heart Failure. After my week long vaction, I left the hospital with more blessings in the situation.  My husband now understood what it felt like to bring home and take care of three boys and a newborn, and  I know with out a doubt that life is so precious and can be given and taken in instant.
Now fast forward to over a year later, I am still in awe that God choose to strengthen our family with baby Mariah.  Also to see my boys, loving her so sweet and gentle in their own unique way .
Some other fun hobbies I have pick up in between feedings, changing diapers, and all my other domestic engineer duties is making baby girl headbands, couponing, and I am now a
Close to My Heart Consultant!!  Yeah :)
So if you want to hang out with family and friends and craft, I can assist in home or online workshops. Check out my website at:

Oh, How Time Flies

Hello everyone.  How time flies when your are having fun.:)
I love  how when I feel like my life has been shaken all around and upside down, God always has a personalized lesson for me.  I just wanted to let all the Moms know that you are in my prayers, regardless if  you work at home, from home, or out side of the home, you are precious and uniquely made. God knows your heart and sees all the extras hours and late nights that you put in.
I have had a few life changes since the last time I posted back in February 2012.  I worked out side of the home, 40 hours a week for 3 months,at a wonderful company called G & K services, which I started at the end of March 2012 and lasted to the middle of June 2012. I am so thankful to have served at such a wonderful company that allows me to be me.
If I maybe transparent for a moment, I prayed for a financial blessing for our family. When the opportunity came for me to go to work outside the home for 3 months I knew God was all over it.  First couple of weeks were fun.  I loved the extra money coming in.  Then reality started to kick in and I forgot to hire a maid, cook, nanny, etc. :).  Just kidding I do not have money for that :).  The house duties started to pile up. Plus out of the blue, I had close friends that needed my creative craft skills.
So I started to complain. :(.  Basically slapping my blessing in the face.
Sometimes we think if the task is easy, it is of God and if the task is hard it is not. This is not true, because all things work together for the good in God.
I am thankful that I serve a loving and forgiving God.
Also I have taken on another way to save money, especially now that I am not working, COUPONS!! I will have some posts to share from time to time of  my adventures of coupons.

Okay, Now to the crafting :)
Here are some projects that I worked on the last couple of months:

(Hawaiian Mother's Day 2012)

(Party invite - Butterflies)

(Retro Bridal Shower card)

( Bridal Shower card)

( Father's Day gift)

A Gift from Above - Romans 8:28 (NIV)
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,
who have been called according to his purpose.

Organizing my life in 2012 #1 -Ribbon

Hello everyone!!  I am so thankful we serve an organized God. Amen to that!! By my human restrictions, it is not in my nature to be organized.  It amazes me that I do not like the process of organizing, but I want the benefits of organization.  Because I am not organized it effects every part of my life.
This is the year I am ready to harvest organization!! :) :)

My first project I decided to tackle my ribbon storage in my craftroom.
I found a great storage idea for ribbon on a awesome website A Hen and Her Chicks, that I had to try. I love the way it came out.  I was able to go through my ribbon one by one and take a visual inventory.  some ribbon I had bought multiple of!! :)

Here is the before:

I love that this project did not hardly cost anything.  I used:
cardboard - free
clear tape  - $1.00 from a dollar store
I just organized and wrapped.

I was able to fit two plastic containers into one.
Thank you for letting me share, have a wonderful and blessed day!!
